Last week was my first week back in training after some time. The adult class now includes young teens as well. During the class, their was an obvious gap in the training style of the adults vs. the teens. During the middle of class my instructor stopped us and told us a story. The story led to this very good point that in valid in all aspects of life:
"When you train, you can come in here and push your self or I can push you. The decision is yours, but if you make me push you it's going to be much less pleasant."
Isn't that the truth with everything in life? Sometimes we need a little help pushing ourselves, but if we are constantly relying on others to get us to where we want to be the journey is much less pleasant.
